These are some of the articles I wrote for my Public Affairs Reporting class this semester. We were required to write two articles per week on deadline, one enterprise story from our beat and an assigned story — usually city council meeting coverage or something like that. My beat this semester was the justice system, so I covered cops, courts, jails and the laws they serve to enforce.
